As an artist, I find most of my inspiration from nature. I recently relocated to a small, rural town West of Houston so that I could continue my work in a more suitable environment. My studio is a large, converted barn that overlooks our beautiful property full of gorgeous trees and flowers that is home to a multitude of birds, dragonflies and butterflies.

Most of the time, I am surrounded by my life partner, fellow artists or friends while I am creating, which I feel helps me pull from my inner emotions. This, to me, is why my work has been deemed exceptional by many in the art community. I am always trying to develop a new technique that will inspire my fans and catch the attention of those who have never seen my work.

Many years ago, I took a pottery class with several of my friends; I had no idea that I would love it so much. However, since I have been completely hooked. My friends and I call it "Playing-In-The-Mud" and we feel like it is almost like being a kid again. Most everything I make is hand-built with every piece being totally original.

To be able to create every day is an amazing gift. There is not a day that passes, that I am not thankful for this incredible blessing. I enjoy many mediums in 2D and 3D art. When I paint, I usually try to connect with my emotions and start with the colors that reflect them. Because I am very active, nurturing and have a positive attitude, I paint with a lot of red, green, blue and purple. I truly hope when visiting my site, you will find something that touches you.
